Miley Ray Cyrus was born Destiny Hope Cyrus on November 23rd, 1992 in Franklin, Tennessee and raised in Thompson's Station, Tennessee to Tish Cyrus and Billy Ray Cyrus. Miley has five brothers as well as sisters. Two older siblings and a younger sister. Her parents chose her name because they hoped that she would attain excellence. Her father played her in the film, Doc (2001), in the initial part of this film. Also, Cyrus had an appearance in Tim Burton's Big Fish (2003). Cyrus was chosen in 2005 to be the lead of the Disney television series Hannah Montana, which is about a teenager who lives in a double life. Her father was once again along with her. The song became a huge hit, and soon sold-out tours were announced as well as the signing of merchandising contracts. Cyrus turned into a teenager-friendly star. Cyrus started to play various roles in the wake of her popularity with Hannah Montana (2006). These included playing Ronnie Miller (in The Last Song in 2010) and Lola (in LOL (2012)), alongside Demi Moor.
